* Job Description:
** - Join a dynamic team dedicated to delivering cutting-edge imaging services! - Perform complex CT procedures that contribute to essential diagnostic evaluations.
- Utilize your professional judgment to review and document patient clinical histories with precision.
- Engage with patients and their families to ensure accuracy in contrast questionnaires.
- Administer contrast media for CT exams, collaborating with licensed practitioners.
- Verify prescriptions, ensuring appropriateness of exams while communicating with Radiologists and Referring Physicians.
- Facilitate the modification of insurance authorization forms for seamless patient care.
- Schedule and organize outside studies, ensuring all necessary materials are available in PACS.
- Provide exam copies to patients and requesting physicians, enhancing patient experience.
- Evaluate radiographs using PACS to guarantee proper identification and diagnostic value.
- Prepare protocols for scanning, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Determine the necessary preparation for each patient prior to scanning.
- Prep patients effectively for scanning using shielding and immobilization techniques.
- Administer appropriate contrast types and doses accurately.
- Communicate clearly with patients, addressing all questions and concerns.
- Perform venipuncture, IV patency checks, and maintenance according to established guidelines.
- Monitor patients’ conditions during procedures for any adverse reactions.
- Commit to scheduled shifts, ensuring patient care is always prioritized.
- Lift a minimum of 25 lbs., push/pull 50 lbs., and stand for at least 6 hours a day.
- Adapt care to meet the unique needs of diverse patient populations.
- Communicate effectively with patients and caregivers at their comprehension level.
- Adhere to all organizational competencies and standards of behavior for a positive workplace.
