* Job Description:

** - Are you ready to elevate your career in the exciting world of cardiovascular technology? - Become a key player in the procedural team assisting physicians with vital invasive cardiac and peripheral diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

- Play an essential role in the placement of temporary and permanent pacemakers and the management of circulatory support devices, including IABP and Impella.

* Key Responsibilities:

** - Prepare and organize specialized equipment and sterile trays for each procedure, ensuring everything is ready for a seamless experience.

- Assist in positioning and preparing patient monitoring for successful outcomes.

- Calibrate and test transducers to guarantee accurate pressure readings.

- Actively support physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures.

- Load and operate power injectors and associated sterile support equipment with precision.

- Maneuver table controls and fluoroscopy as requested, enhancing the procedure experience.

- Calibrate hemodynamic monitoring equipment and analyze vital data, including computerized ventriculography data.

- Calculate and record critical metrics such as cardiac output and oximetry readings.

- Utilize and maintain protocols for the operation of digital cine technologies, ensuring effective storage and retrieval of patient images and hemodynamic records.

- Assist with vascular access, sheath removal, and hemostatic closure devices, maintaining hemostasis.

- Contribute to inventory control and maintenance of preparation levels for required equipment.

- Adhere to Clinical Cardiovascular Information Systems (CVIS) practice requirements.

- Ensure safety in operating equipment, taking care to return supplies as needed.

- Participate in on-call responsibilities as required.

- Apply radial access banding while ensuring hemostasis.

- Recognize and interpret all cardiac arrhythmias, enhancing patient care.

- Assist in the maintenance, calibration, and periodic evaluation of diagnostic and technical equipment.

* Schedule:

** - Shift options of 11AM - 7:30PM or 9AM - 7:30PM; flexibility for 5x8hr or 4x10s.

- Weekends and holidays as needed, with on-call responsibilities required.
** Experience &

Skills:

** - Previous experience in a Cath Lab/Electrophysiology setting is essential.

- Knowledge of electrophysiology intra-procedure mapping, ablation, implantable devices, and required sterile scrub techniques.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
** Education &

Certifications:

** - Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist program, Radiologic Technologist program, or an Associate’s degree in Applied Science (AAS).

- Required certifications: AHA BLS and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 3 months of employment).

- RCIS certification must be achieved within 1 year of hire or hold a Radiologic Technologist License.
