Our client, a highly regarded, leading regional law firm, is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join their New Jersey office.
This is a key leadership role supporting firmwide HR operations and partnering closely with senior leadership in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day human resources functions across the firm
- Work closely with senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives related to hiring, retention, employee relations, and compliance
- Shape HR policies, support staff development, and maintain a positive and productive workplace culture
- Lead firmwide recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and retention initiatives in compliance with employment laws and best practices
- Assess staffing needs and maintain appropriate staffing ratios across departments
- Collaborate on administration of benefits programs, including 401(k) and profit-sharing plans
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) is a plus
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements
