Field Application Engineer – NJ

Working within the Sales organization, you will provide pre-sales and post-sales activities for Sequans’ System-on-Chips and module solutions for system vendors developing 4G/5G products to provide the optimum technical support to our costumer portfolios.

You serve as the primary technical interface for Sequans’ customers and prospects in North America, overseeing all technical aspects of solution deployment. Responsible for customer project management, you work in close collaboration with the Sales to drive revenue growth and ensure customer success. Leveraging your technical expertise and project leadership skills, you support customers through every phase of product development and network integration.

Your role is pivotal in achieving design wins by effectively promoting and positioning Sequans’ solutions..

RESPONSABILITIES:

• Provide end-to-end project management and technical support throughout all phases of product development, serving as the primary technical interface for customers.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction and long-term engagement.
• Deliver customer training on Sequans hardware and software products to facilitate smooth integration and usage.
• Analyze and troubleshoot functional, stability, performance and interoperability issues, both in the lab and in the field, working to isolate root causes.
• Resolve Level-1 technical issues directly, or collaborate with Level-2 support by providing in-depth analysis and diagnostics.
• Support the Sales team in identifying business opportunities, qualifying new prospects, and engaging in pre-sales activities.
• Respond to RFIs and RFPs, gathering and analyzing requirements for customer-specific solutions and developments.
• Evaluate customer needs and collaborate with the Product Marketing team to drive design wins.
• Provide product demonstrations and perform field testing to validate performance and ensure deployment readiness.

KNOWLEDGE & PROFILE:

• EE or MS degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the wireless and IoT(CATM and NBIoT) industry
• Minimum of 5 years embedded system experience
• Minimum of 5 years working directly with customers and solving technical issues
• Proven expertise in the following areas:
  • Application development and/or Real-time embedded software development using C/C++
  • Knowledge of LTE and IoT protocol with experience in troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of hardware design including RF and modem HW interfaces
  • Scripting
