Key Responsibilities- Support KDB+ applications and services for the MAPS Electronic Trading Data Services team in New York.
- Maintain the largest KDB+ implementation servicing the Global Markets business across multiple asset classes.
- Utilise at least 3 years of development or support experience on real‑time KDB+ applications.
- Comfortable working in a Unix environment.
- Manage technology incidents and coordinate follow‑up actions with development teams through to closure and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate closely with development teams, quant solutions groups and business stakeholders.
- Operate and adjust approach to collaborate effectively with people from all groups.
- Deliver continuous “follow‑the‑sun” support across New York, Singapore, GIFT City (India) and London, with applications operating 24x6.
- Self‑starter who can hit the ground running.
- Support includes weekend service on rotation.
- Work onsite with the client 3 days per week in Pennington, NJ.
- Minimum 5 years of work experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience developing and supporting KDB+ applications.
- Experience with Q programming language.
- Familiarity with real‑time KDB+ applications processing terabytes of data daily.
- Excellent spoken and written communication to support users and collaborate with business and technology stakeholders.
- Familiarity with ITIL approach to Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
- Associate's Degree.
