Litigation Associate

I’m partnering with a well‑regarded New Jersey litigation firm that is building a team of smart, hands‑on attorneys who want to practice law and not live by a timesheet!

The Practice

This is a general litigation role with variety and substance. Matters may include:

• Contract and commercial disputes
• Real estate litigation
• Employment‑related matters
• Intellectual property disputes
• Other business and civil litigation matters

Associates are not siloed. You’ll work directly with partners and gain exposure across cases from start to finish.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Handling e‑filings (NJ; NY as applicable)
• Managing and responding to discovery
• Appearing in court and at conferences
• Assisting with case strategy and trial preparation

This is not a “research‑only” role. If you want hands‑on experience, you’ll get it!

The Ideal Background

• 1–5 years of litigation experience
• New Jersey Bar admission required
• New York Bar admission preferred (not mandatory)
• Strong writing skills and comfort juggling multiple matters
• Someone who thrives in a collaborative, low‑ego environment

Compensation

• $100,000–$140,000, depending on experience
