I’m partnering with a well‑regarded New Jersey litigation firm that is building a team of smart, hands‑on attorneys who want to practice law and not live by a timesheet!
The Practice
This is a general litigation role with variety and substance. Matters may include:
- Contract and commercial disputes
- Real estate litigation
- Employment‑related matters
- Intellectual property disputes
- Other business and civil litigation matters
Associates are not siloed. You’ll work directly with partners and gain exposure across cases from start to finish.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Handling e‑filings (NJ; NY as applicable)
- Managing and responding to discovery
- Appearing in court and at conferences
- Assisting with case strategy and trial preparation
This is not a “research‑only” role. If you want hands‑on experience, you’ll get it!
The Ideal Background
- 1–5 years of litigation experience
- New Jersey Bar admission required
- New York Bar admission preferred (not mandatory)
- Strong writing skills and comfort juggling multiple matters
- Someone who thrives in a collaborative, low‑ego environment

Compensation
- $100,000–$140,000, depending on experience
