Porter - Floater - Night

The Porter Floater - Night cleaning and maintaining contracted buildings and office spaces for North Jersey Friendship House, Inc. This part‑time role covers various locations and fills in when staff are absent.

• Cleans and maintains offices, classrooms, lobbies, windows, doors, and walls.
• Cleans and maintains restrooms (floors, sinks, counters, commodes, and fixtures).
• Maintains cleanliness of elevators and stairwells.
• Monitors interior and exterior building and grounds to keep common areas free of debris.
• Empty garbage containers in common areas, offices, classrooms, and restrooms.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum 1 year of maintenance or janitorial experience.
• Ability to handle multiple projects.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be friendly, self‑starter, and able to take direction well.

Monday to Friday, 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm;
Saturday, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm, with weekend flexibility as needed.
