Our client is seeking a safety-focused leader to oversee all aspects of facility operations, including equipment, utilities, infrastructure, maintenance, calibration, construction projects, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) activities, and technical services.

Your Objectives:- Maintain safe, compliant, and reliable facility operations across equipment, utilities, infrastructure, maintenance, and calibration activities.
- Deliver Capital Expenditure (Cap Ex) and facility projects on time, within budget, and in line with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) expectations.
- Build and lead a high-performing Facilities team that supports operational excellence, audit readiness, and continuous improvement.
- Lead the technical management of the site, ensuring facilities operations meet safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the maintenance programme, including staff direction, unscheduled requests, work delegation, and maintenance documentation.
- Lead the execution of the site Capital Expenditure (Cap Ex) plan, including facility expansions, new production equipment installation, and engineering projects.
- Manage construction projects from design through execution, turnover, and qualification of new spaces.
- Oversee the calibration programme, including assigning activities, directing staff, managing urgent requests, and maintaining calibration records.
- Write, review, and approve Facilities Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the site.
- Partner with Quality Assurance (QA) to support commissioning, qualification, customer audits, and regulatory inspections as the Facilities subject matter expert.
- 8-10 years of experience in Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) manufacturing, facilities management, technical services, or related regulated operations.
- Strong experience managing maintenance, calibration, construction, utilities, infrastructure, and equipment-focused workflows.
- Proven experience managing Capital Expenditure (Cap Ex) and Operating Expenditure (OpEx) budgets, including planning, forecasting, and tracking spend.
- Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) expectations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with experience supervising technical staff and contractors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Experience supporting chemical process safety, Process Hazard Assessments (PHAs), commissioning, qualification, and regulated audits is desirable.
