Overview
Permanent position as electro-mechanical lead technician for an electromechanical and electronics manufacturing company.
Responsibilities- Overseeing and managing all assembly functions, including mechanical and electro-mechanical.
- Coordinating with the appropriate Project Managers to ensure all parts needed for assembly are received on time.
- Coordinating with QA department to ensure parts used in assemblies, and the assemblies themselves, are conforming to the requirements.
- Building and monitoring daily, weekly, monthly schedules for each process, team, and/or assembler.
- Issue work orders for assemblies.
- Ensure all assemblies are inspected and verified.
- Ensure accuracy and organize documentation as required for a work order.
- Monitor the assembly room and raise red flags as appropriate.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electro-mechanical and electrical blueprints.
- Ability to manage processes and people.
- Experience working with instruments such as voltmeter, oscilloscope, power supply, calipers, height gauges, micrometers, etc.
- Experience with QA inspection tools, such as calipers, height gauges, micrometers, etc.
- Experience or certification with IPC-A-620 is desired for cable assemblies.
- Experience or certification with IPC-A-610 is desired for electronics assemblies.
- Experience or certification with IPC-J-STD-001 is desired for soldered electrical and assemblies.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electro-mechanical and electrical blueprints.
- Ability to manage processes and people.
