SUMMARY OF POSITION To keep accurate records of all materials received and inventoried. Inspect shipments, reconcile packing slips or manifests with actual items, and verify that materials are delivered to correct departments or properly stored in the warehouse.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Review all incoming items, inspecting them for quality and ensuring proper paperwork is received.
- Enter all raw materials into MAS 500 system, verify entry, and post transactions.
- Locate and consolidate received materials to a bin location in the warehouse.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure a steady flow of materials needed to meet customer demand.
- Move materials, supplies, and finished goods to designated places in the facility, using hand trucks, forklifts, etc.
- Use a handheld scanner to track and locate all materials.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of assigned processes and equipment.
- Report any process and equipment problems to upper management and/or the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Responsible for all processes, equipment, employees, safety, and housekeeping of the area and meet quality and quantity standards.
- Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
- Recognize non-conforming goods and inform the Quality Assurance Manager.
- Utilize required systems, including HQMS, Sage 500 ERP/DSCS, and handheld scanners.
- Ensure established safety protocol is followed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS- Maintain a computerized inventory system promptly and accurately.
- Work effectively with all levels of employees and management; have a good command of the English language.
- Experience operating powered industrial trucks, including forklifts, order pickers, walkies, trans-stackers, and clamp trucks; certification is desirable.
- Read and interpret work orders for processing.
- Use simple math and basic hand measuring tools.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- High school diploma or equivalency degree.
Light to moderate physical effort is required. Ability to lift or maneuver materials in excess of 45 lbs. Regularly required to stand, reach, and move about the facility.
WORK ENVIRONMENTFast‑paced work environment with consistent pressure to complete duties. Ability to manage multiple projects at a detailed level and provide support to many internal departments. Work performed in a Warehouse Manufacturing/Distribution Plant environment.
