CSPNJ, a mental health nonprofit is looking for a full-time Wellness Center Manager in Jersey City. Under the direction of the Regional Coordinator, the Manager is responsible for managing, coordinating, and overseeing operations and activities at the center including a team of mentors and a Resource Specialist. Wellness Centers are a safe and supportive place for adults with life struggles to meet and get support.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Conduct community outreach to promote center services, building partnerships with local organizations, and ensuring access to resources for members.
- Foster a welcoming environment, track operational metrics, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with policies.
- The manager will coordinate referral services, life skills workshops, vocational awareness, self-care opportunities, creative arts activities, peer support, access to tangible goods.
- Foster partnerships with local organizations, community leaders to enhance the centers visibility and relevance, actively engaging in community events and initiatives.

Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in a mental health discipline preferred; alternatively, a high school diploma with 2+ years of related work/ lived experience..
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a supervisory role.
- Proficient in MS Office products as well as general computer literacy.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written; attention to detail, and ability to multi–task and stay organized.
- Track record of engagement and passion for building the community.
- Knowledge of wellness, the mental health system and community resources.
- Ability to effectively communicate and relate to a diverse population in a multicultural environment.
- Proven ability to engage and support individuals with mental health diagnoses using empathy, professionalism, and trauma-informed practices.
- Bilingual skills a plus!
- MUST have a valid NJ Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
