Atlantic Health is Seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife in Summit, New Jersey

Atlantic Health, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join the Atlantic Medical Group Womens Health team at Overlook Medical Center. This full-time role includes both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities on the Overlook Medical Center campus, which features a newly renovated maternity center and labor and delivery floor. The CNM will work closely with a collaborative team of board-certified obstetricians, certified nurse midwives, social workers, nutritionists, and nurses to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care within a growing service line.

The Certified Nurse Midwife will perform patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, and provide obstetric and gynecologic services, including labor management and delivery. Responsibilities also include community education, participation in practice management, and accurate completion of medical documentation and billing.

This is a full-time opportunity that requires the CNM to work in the outpatient clinic, as well as 1 24-hour call per week, and 1 weekend call per month.

• Perform patient assessments and develop/implement care plans.
• Provide obstetric and gynecologic services, including labor management and delivery.
• Engage in community education and participate in practice management.
• Complete accurate medical documentation and billing.
• Work in the outpatient clinic and participate in a 24-hour call per week and a weekend call per month.
• Collaborate with a team of obstetricians, midwives, social workers, nutritionists, and nurses.

• Master's or Doctoral Degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP) with a specialization in Midwifery.
• Licensed as a registered nurse (RN) or eligible for licensure in New Jersey.
• Certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in women's health; 3 years of midwifery experience preferred.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
