Organ Transplant Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner​/NIGHT HYBRID

The Organ Transplant Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner assists, monitors, and manages the day-to-day needs of patients as requested by, in conjunction with, and under the supervision of a physician. Performs the duties and responsibilities of a Physician Assistant according to customary and generally accepted medical standards.

• Assist, monitor, and manage the day-to-day needs of patients under physician supervision.
• Perform duties and responsibilities of a Physician Assistant according to customary and generally accepted medical standards.
• Work a day/night hybrid shift.
• Previous transplant or surgical specialty experience preferred.

• Graduate of an NLN/AACN accredited nursing program.
• Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Successful completion of an approved physician’s assistant program accredited by the AMA Council on Medical Education.
• Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education and clinical practice.
• Experience in a relevant patient care setting, or as regulations dictate.
• National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Prescriptive authority through CDS and DEA registration according to New Jersey state law.
• Collaborative agreement with physicians on staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
• Board certified by AANP or ANCC.
• Board certified by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License.
• Advance Practice Nurse License.
• Physician Assistant License.
• BLS AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification.
