Registered Nurse - Critical Care Float Pool - Nights

Registered Nurse in the Critical Care Float Pool provides direct care to a variety of complex patients, focusing on achieving desired health outcomes. This part‑time position is ideal for those who thrive in a collaborative environment and are dedicated to enhancing patient care.

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
• Perform age and disease‑specific assessments independently.
• Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status.
• Identify patient/family education needs based on age and disease.
• Develop and coordinate a patient/family‑focused plan of care.
• Communicate and implement the plan of care effectively.
• Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Administer medications utilizing advanced bar‑scanning technologies.
• Evaluate progress toward attainment of patient outcomes.
• Adhere to established protocols and document care accurately.

Education:

• Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required; BSN in progress preferred.

Experience:

• Six (6) months of relevant nursing experience or participation in the Nurse Residency Program.

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license in New Jersey.
• BLS/CPR certification required within 60 days of hire.
