• Manage 24/7 accountability for the assigned unit(s).
• Oversee daily operations and ensure team knowledge of emergency/disaster response policies.
• Monitor nursing standards of practice and ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.
• Develop and evaluate budgetary and financial priorities related to patient care.
• Promote cost-effective use of organizational resources and manage staffing plans.
• Demonstrate leadership through effective communication, coaching, and mentoring.
• Supervise educational programs and support team members in collaboration with the Department of Education.
• Support the Magnet Program by ensuring shared governance and data collection.
• Prioritize organizational goals and incorporate them into standard work.
• Professionally review complaints and follow up with appropriate departments.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

• 3+ years' experience as a Registered Nurse required
• 3+ years' progressive leadership experience preferred

• Current NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License required
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification required
• National Certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible
