Part-time, Day shift
- Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
- Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently.
- Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status.
- Develop a plan of care with strategies and interventions to attain expected outcomes.
- Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care.
- Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Administer medications utilizing advancements in bar-scanning technology.
- Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes.
- Initiate interventions related to patient's change in condition.
- Adhere to American Nurses Association Code for Nurses.
Education: Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required; BSN in progress preferred within three years of hire.
Experience: Six (6) months of relevant nursing experience or participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program.
Licenses & Certifications- Current and valid Registered Nurse license in New Jersey.
- BLS/CPR certification required within 60 days of hire.
- National Certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible.
