• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health.
• Perform age and disease‑specific assessments independently.
• Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patients.
• Develop and coordinate patient-centered plans of care.
• Communicate and implement the plan of care effectively.
• Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Administer medications using advanced bar-scanning technology.
• Evaluate progress toward attainment of patient outcomes.
• Identify ethical issues in the practice setting.
• Maintain competencies and certifications for facility accreditation.

• Education: Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required; BSN in progress preferred.
• Experience: Six (6) months of relevant nursing experience or participation in the Nurse Residency Program.

  Certifications:
  
  Current and valid Registered Nurse license in New Jersey; BLS/CPR certification required within 60 days of hire;
  National Certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible.
