• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health.
• Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently.
• Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patients.
• Develop and coordinate patient-centered plans of care.
• Communicate and implement the plan of care effectively.
• Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Administer medications utilizing advanced bar-scanning technologies.
• Evaluate progress toward attainment of patient outcomes.
• Initiate interventions related to changes in patient condition.
• Adhere to the American Nurses Association Code for Nurses.

Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required; BSN in progress or willingness to acquire within three years preferred.

Six months of relevant nursing experience or participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program.

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license in New Jersey.
• BLS/CPR and ACLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
