The Nurse Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring effective communication and collaboration among healthcare professionals to facilitate positive patient outcomes. This part-time position is ideal for individuals who are dedicated to providing high-quality nursing care and support to patients and their families.

• Location: Hackensack, NJ
• Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health
• Schedule: Part-time, Night shift

• Determine nursing care requirements through assessment of the patient and family.
• Establish nursing diagnoses and consider therapeutic plans from other healthcare professionals.
• Set short and long-term nursing goals and assess educational needs for patients and families.
• Evaluate effectiveness and revise nursing care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to implement comprehensive care plans.
• Record findings of nursing assessments, goals, plans, and outcomes of interventions.
• Coordinate diagnostic tests prescribed by physicians.
• Assist patients in preparing for examinations and educate them on compliance with physician recommendations.
• Identify and modify care to meet the specific needs of the patient population served.
• Act as a resource nurse for protocol groups and coordinate data management.

• Graduate of a NLN/AACN accredited program in nursing.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

• Current NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support HCP Certification required.
