The Registered Nurse Float - Rapid Response Team provides direct patient care and coordinates activities among nursing peers, physicians, and support services. This role is ideal for those who thrive in a collaborative environment and are committed to delivering high-quality care.

  Full-time, Night shift

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation.
• Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently.
• Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status.
• Develop a plan of care that prescribes strategies and interventions.
• Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care.
• Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Administer medications utilizing advancements in bar-scanning technology.
• Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes.
• Initiate interventions related to patient’s change in condition.
• Adhere to American Nurses Association Code for Nurses.

Education:

• Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required.
• BSN in progress or willingness to acquire within three (3) years of hire.

Experience:

• Six (6) months of relevant nursing experience or participation in Nurse Residency Program.

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license in New Jersey.
• BLS/CPR certification required within 60 days of hire.
• National Certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible.
