Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. This role involves planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs. The RN identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Responsibilities include developing and coordinating individualized care plans, performing therapeutic nursing interventions, managing patient care, and advocating for evidence-based practices.
The RN provides patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice models.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of acute dialysis experience.
- Experience with Fresenius 2008T Hemodialysis Machines.
- Knowledge of portable RO systems.
- ASN required.
- BLS (AHA) certification.
- NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 or more years of acute hemodialysis experience.
- Telemetry experience.
- EPIC EHR experience.
- BSN preferred.
