Halal Certification Services USA, Inc. is a leading U.S. based certification body providing end-to-end halal auditing, training and advisory services. We assist businesses in the food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries in navigating the global halal market with integrity and efficiency.

This position is open only to USA residents who are authorized to work in the United States. Candidates from outside the USA will not be considered.

• Knowledge of halal standards, Islamic dietary laws, and certification processes
• Strong analytical, observational, and problem‑solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and training sessions
• Attention to detail, organization, and the ability to prepare detailed audit reports in conjunction with a technical auditor
• Proficiency in English
• Ability to travel locally to conduct on‑site inspections and audits

The Shariah Auditor will work alongside a technical auditor to ensure that all aspects of production are aligned strictly with Islamic jurisprudence. The primary duties are to evaluate the ethical and religious compliance of processes, providing expert oversight on Islamic dietary laws and ensuring that "Tayyib" (purity) is maintained throughout the supply chain.

• Evaluate documents and conduct on‑site inspections to verify that ingredients, manufacturing methods, and logistics adhere to Shariah principles
• Apply deep knowledge of Fiqh, Hadith, and Quranic principles to resolve complex certification questions

Coordinate with technical teams to ensure scientific processes do not conflict with religious standards.

• U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders residing in the United States
• Background in Islamic sciences
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in one of the following fields:
• Islamic Studies
• Shariah Law (Fiqh)
• Hadith Sciences
• Arabic Language & Islamic Literature
• Deep expertise in Islamic dietary laws and Halal/Haram distinctions
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to apply classical Fiqh to modern industrial contexts
• Excellent communication in English;
  Arabic proficiency highly preferred
