Quality Assurance Nurse - JTCC Blood & Marrow Transplant

The Quality Assurance Nurse at Hackensack Meridian Health is responsible for overseeing quality assurance documentation for the Blood & Marrow Transplant division. This role is ideal for experienced nurses who are detail-oriented and passionate about regulatory compliance and staff education.

• Oversee all quality assurance documentation for the Blood & Marrow Transplant division.
• Maintain Quality Assurance documents for FDA, FACT, NMDP, etc.
• Monitor staff regulatory compliance related to annual validations.
• Develop and provide assessment tools for monitoring staff education compliance.
• Collaborate with the program medical director and Nurse Managers to design and implement Standard Operating Procedures.
• Work on special projects related to quality assurance, regulatory affairs, and education series.
• Act as a resource for the staff.
• Submit regulatory and educational reports as requested.
• Coordinate/facilitate quarterly quality management meetings, including agenda, audits, validation studies, and collection reports.
• Perform audits to monitor compliance with regulatory standards as outlined by agencies such as FACT and JCAHO.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in BMT transplant, apheresis, and photopheresis

• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification
• Oncology Certified Nurse (preferred)
• FACT certified training (preferred)
• Apheresis Training Certificate (preferred)
  Photopheresis Training Certificate (preferred)
