Job OverviewAs a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase your organization and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels, as well as support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations when needed. On occasion you may also work with other products from other companies in the stores that you service.
Salaryand Schedule Details
- Your starting hourly pay rate is $16.00 to $17.00, depending on skills and experience.
- Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
- This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule.
- Average weekly hours are between 8 and 10 hours.
- Availability around major holidays, including weekends, is required.
- Use a mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory and communicate with supervisors via technology.
- Provide holiday support, including extended hours around Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
- Participate in department resets, installations, and fixture relocations with notice up to two weeks in advance.
- Support team members in their territories as needed.
This job requires lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally, kneeling, squatting, walking, and climbing stairs or ladders. Work is performed on the selling floor and in back‑stockrooms.
Basic Qualifications- At least 18 years of age.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English.
- Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Can operate a digital hand‑held device to read documents and interpret information.
- Has Wi‑Fi access and internet connectivity.
- Has reliable transportation to travel to assigned stores.
