Job Overview
The Senior Client Manager is an advanced subject matter expert responsible for taking full ownership of assigned accounts in the Insurance industry, retaining existing clients, and driving new business for Infrastructure Solutions. The role is quota-bearing and focuses on land, expansion, renewals, and client satisfaction throughout the entire sales lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and grow relationships to drive land, expansion and renewals across all solutions within assigned accounts.
- Pursue leads identified by aligned lead generation and business development representatives.
- Minimize churn and maximize retention in assigned accounts.
- Drive client satisfaction throughout the entire lifecycle of the clients’ buying process.
- Work in a highly matrixed environment and provide global sales orchestration.
- Generate demand by assisting clients to identify current needs and articulate how the company can add value through its services and solutions.
- Influence and work closely with vendors/partners to achieve required results.
- Use company sales tools and methodology to manage accounts, opportunities, pipelines and forecast.
- Develop open and effective communication channels with each client within the assigned account.
- Encourage revenue growth by inspiring clients to additional services.
- Act as the reliable point of contact for clients to establish a strong business relationship.
- Determine the best solution requirements for each client that can be deployed by other departments.
- Build enduring relationships and display an understanding of the client industry, business environment, and strategy to identify current and future opportunities.
- Develop or align governance and compliance policies to manage risk exposure liability.
- Monitor and control financial governance and compliance to manage financial cost.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business or a sales related field.
- 10+ years of overall technology sales experience with several years of resale/VAR experience.
- Extensive experience selling Infrastructure Solutions such as secure networking, collaboration, contact center, hybrid data center, security, etc.
- Experience working in a global matrixed environment and with OEM partners such as Cisco, Palo Alto, HPE, Dell.
- Advanced experience in partner management, customer service, sales orientation, and using contact platform.
- Advanced experience in a similar client manager role.
- Relevant vendor certifications are advantageous.
Up to 35% based on business and customer needs.
Compensation and Benefits- Base salary $115–213K plus variable commissions.
