Job Overview
Wet Sand & Buff Technician – Madison, WI. Support Paint Technicians by locating and removing imperfections on panels, treating scratches and chips, and providing a showroom shine.
Responsibilities- Locate and remove imperfections on vehicle panels
- Treat scratches and chips with appropriate steps
- Wet sand and buff panels to achieve a showroom shine
- 5 years of experience in paint chip repair, wet sanding and buffing
- Experience in a body shop environment
- Strong work ethic, flexibility, speed and attention to detail
- Physical stamina to kneel, bend, squat and lift up to 15 pounds
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
Starting compensation: $21.00‑$23.00 per hour, depending on qualifications, experience and geographic location.
