Social Work Supervisor - County of Bergen - Department of Human Services - Division of Family Guidance

Job Description:

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor position is a full time 40 hour per week position. The position's main focus is on providing supervision to staff and ensuring program goals and objectives are achieved.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Supervise staff consisting of clinicians and case workers from varied disciplines.
  • Provide group and/or individual therapy for at-risk youth.
  • Conduct individual supervision and staff meetings.
  • Conduct intake and assessments of at-risk youth and families as required.
  • Compose treatment / intervention plans consistent with evidence informed practices as required.
  • Complete all required documentation.
  • Attend required trainings.
  • Collect, analyze and report on relevant program statistics.
  • Collect and compose data and reports as required by grants and contracts.
  • Maintain an appropriate caseload of clients and provide other work related responsibilities as required.
Hours:
  • Full time / 40-hour work week.
  • Some evening hours may be required based on specific position assignment.
Education Requirements:
  • Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW)
  • Clinical Social Work Supervision Certificate
Other Requirements:
  • Must have 5 or more years' experience providing clinical treatment/services
  • Supervisory experience of clinical staff
  • Seminar Training in Field Instruction (SIFI) (preferred)
  • Experience working with children/adolescents
  • Experience with at-risk youth and families (preferred)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literacy(MS Excel and Word)
  • Driver's license.
  • Ability to work evenings.
  • Paid on-call responsibilities may be required for some positions

Salary: $68,000 / per annum
