Sawtelle Hall is a residential treatment facility serving vulnerable youth who may have diagnoses within the autism spectrum. Residential Assistants will be expected to provide positive support, caring assistance, and responsible supervision.
This position requires a unique sensitivity to recognize and appropriately respond to clients who may have exhibited difficulties.
Duties- Participating as a member of a therapeutic treatment team
- Becoming familiar with the residents' treatment goals
- Carrying out expected interventions
- Observation and documentation of success
- Identifying current or suggesting new therapeutic goals that may require attention by the treatment team
- Bachelor level degree in a related social service field (Psychology, Sociology, Education, Public Health, etc.);
Psychology preferred with experience working with youth - High school diploma/GED required; 3 years or more experience working with youth in a group or behavioral setting
- Valid driver's license required
- 3 years experience providing direct care to youth in a behavioral health agency or institutional setting
Weekdays or weekends, full time/part time or on‑call shifts available.
