Position:
Part‑Time Social Worker (2)
Hackensack High School & Hackensack Middle School
Terms of Employment / Fringe BenefitsPart‑time position from September 1, 2026 to December 18, 2026, up to 25 hours per week. Salary: $57.85 per hour. This position is 100% funded by the Mental Health Screening in Schools Grant and is dependent on grant funding.
Nature & Scope of JobResponsible for a range of support services including:
- Assessing the needs of students
- Providing appropriate social work services
- Monitoring student performance
- Conducting individual counseling sessions
- Referral, intervention, and consulting with instructional staff to assist in providing strategies for student social and personal growth
- Coordinating services for and communicating with a student’s family and other social service resources
- Licensed Social Worker Certification
- Experience in K‑12 education and SEL planning a plus
- Bilingual Spanish‑speaking preferred
