About The Role
As a Senior Software Engineer you will make an impact by designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions that power critical business applications. You will be a valued member of our Technology & Engineering team and work collaboratively with cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver high‑quality, secure, and innovative solutions.
In This Role, You Will- Develop and maintain applications using AWS, Node.js, Angular
JS, Java, and JavaScript to meet business requirements. - Design and optimize database solutions using SQL and MySQL for efficient data management.
- Implement secure, reliable code and conduct thorough testing to ensure application performance and quality.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and QA teams to deliver new features and enhancements.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices to continuously improve development processes.
Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a Onsite position 5 days in the office. Regardless of your working arrangement, we are here to support a healthy work‑life balance through our various wellbeing programs.

What You Need To Have To Be Considered- 4–8 years of experience in software development.
- Strong expertise in AWS, Node.js, Angular
JS, Java, JavaScript, SQL, and MySQL. - Proven ability to design and implement scalable, secure applications.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in a team environment.
- AWS Certified Developer and Oracle Certified Professional – Java SE Programmer.
- Experience in optimizing application performance and scalability.
- Familiarity with modern development practices and tools.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business needs.

The annual salary for this position is between $90,000 - $11,00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
