Are you a professional driver, or an Emergency Vehicle Operator (EVOC) certified professional, who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment? Join our dedicated team as a n On-Call Driver and be part of an organization that positively impacts lives every day!

Work Location: Must reside within 30 minutes of 560 Hudson St., Suite 3, Hackensack, NJ 07601
Schedule: Part-time, On-call availability

How You Will Be Rewarded as an On-Call Driver

• Compensation: Competitive pay starting at $26/hour.

Key Responsibilities of an On-Call Driver

• Provide professional ground transportation for surgical teams, specimens, and critical medical equipment
• Ensure timely pick-ups and deliveries while maintaining exceptional customer service
• Adhere to all traffic laws and TAM operational procedures
• Perform vehicle safety checks and fleet maintenance tasks
• Maintain constant communication with logistics coordinators and respond to dispatch calls within 10 minutes
• Handle medical specimens and sensitive cargo with utmost care and precision

Qualifications & Skills of an On-Call Driver

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Valid driver’s license with a clean 39-month driving record
• 2+ years of driving experience
• EVOC Certification required
• Excellent customer service and relationship building skills
• Experience in medical transport, logistics, or professional driving a plus
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and sit for extended periods
• Reliable cell phone access and availability for on-call shifts
