Drafting Technician - High-End Store Fixture Manufacturer

Mango Custom Cabinetry is seeking an experienced Drafting Technician to join our team. We specialize in high-end custom cabinetry and store fixtures, and we are looking for someone who understands both the technical side of drafting and the realities of how cabinetry and millwork are manufactured.

The ideal candidate will have a background in cabinetmaking, architectural millwork, furniture, or a related manufacturing environment, with strong AutoCAD skills
. This is a hands-on production drafting position where attention to detail, accuracy, and an understanding of construction methods are essential.
This position is on-site in Hackettstown, NJ.

• Create accurate, detailed AutoCAD drawings for high-end custom cabinetry and store fixtures.
• Develop shop-ready drawings, details, elevations, sections, and construction documentation from design concepts and specifications.
• Review drawings for accuracy, dimensions, materials, hardware, and construction details.
• Read and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, specifications, and shop notes.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, cabinetmakers, CNC operators, and production staff to ensure drawings accurately reflect the intended finished product.
• Make revisions and adjustments based on project requirements and production feedback.
• Help identify potential construction or manufacturing issues before production begins.
• Maintain organized and accurate project documentation.

• AutoCAD drafting experience in furniture, cabinetry, architectural millwork, store fixtures, or a similar industry is required
  .
• Professional Experience working with high-end custom cabinetry, cabinetmaking, store fixtures, or architectural millwork is strongly preferred.
• CNC programming experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, specifications, and shop notes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a production team.
