In this role, you will be working as a Controls Engineer - Critical Power for a client that works in the power distribution industry. This position will be responsible for design, development and implementation of control systems for lo and medium-voltage switch gear applications.

This position is a direct hire role that is a long term need for my client. This role must be worked on-site.

Pay; 125,000/Yr. depending on experience

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in control system engineering with a focus on switch gear design and implementation
• Program and configure PLCS - Siemens and Fanuc preferred
• SCADA and HMI experience using WinCC and Wonderware
• Configure and test protection relays, power meters and switch gear automation systems
• Strong understanding of project relays, electrical schematics etc.
• Execute Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)
• Perform specification reviews and project takeoffs
• Adhere to project schedules
• Approximately 10% travel needed
