Overview
A Mechanical Engineer is sought for a client located in the Hackettstown, NJ area. This role involves design and coordination of low- and medium-voltage switch gear, power distribution equipment, and control enclosures.
Responsibilities- Design and coordination of low- and medium-voltage switch gear, power distribution equipment and control enclosures.
- Coordinate EPLAN layouts with 3D models to ensure electrical intent is mechanically feasible.
- Evaluate design for manufacturability, installation access, and maintenance clearance.
- Create models in Solidworks from electrical schematics and mechanical requirements.
- Experience with sheet metal and enclosure-based designs.
- Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 3-5 years of mechanical engineering experience, preferably with switch gear or electrical enclosure design
Type:
Direct hire, long-term need; on-site only.
Salary: $135,000 per year, depending on experience
