Position: Licensed Mental Health Therapist (IIC) - Needed in Warren County

Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare has immediate openings for Part‑time Licensed Therapists in Northern New Jersey to provide In‑Home and Center‑Based weekly therapeutic services for youth with mental health disorders.

What We Look For

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate therapists to provide therapeutic services via center‑based and in‑home as needed to youth throughout the state of New Jersey. If you are passionate about helping others and interested in becoming one of our valued providers, please apply below.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing individual In‑home therapy, group therapy sessions, telehealth therapy, and outpatient center sessions.
  • Performing bio‑psycho‑social assessments (plus experience preferred).
  • Providing coping and social skills, anger management and reducing risk behaviors such as SIB or physical aggression.
  • Improving youth and caretaker decision‑making skills to manage in‑home behavioral challenges.
  • Collaborating effectively and consistently with the Child‑Family Treatment Team and/or professionals from other disciplines who also support the youth and family.
  • Submitting all required documentation and paperwork within designated time frames (intake, treatment plan, DAP notes, etc.).
  • Attending monthly meetings and submitting mandatory clinical documentation.
  • Completing or being willing to train for bio‑psycho‑social assessments.
Requirements
  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or related fields such as LSW, LAC, LFT.
  • Clinical Mental Health Trauma Counseling training.
  • Training or willingness to complete Crisis Intervention training.
  • Post‑internship field experience working with youth with mental health disorders.
  • Experience creating treatment planning, setting goals, progress notes, and initial assessments.
  • Experience in various counseling approaches: CBT, REBT, Gestalt, DBT, and Trauma Response.
  • Knowledge of using the DSM‑V for assessments and diagnosis.
  • Availability for a minimum 6‑10 hours per week during after‑school hours of 12 noon through 8 pm. Weekend flexibility is a plus.
  • Experience providing positive behavior supports.
  • Prior experience working with children ages 3‑20, and experience with children with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and registered vehicle.
  • Pass a criminal background check, inclusive of fingerprinting.
  • Submit resume plus copies of master’s degree and NJ Certification or License.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship (no H‑1B or other visa sponsorship).
Notes

State reciprocity is considered; the candidate must be no more than 25–30 minutes commute to the designated service areas. The license must be registered with the NJ Marriage & Family Therapy Board (i.e., PA, NY & NJ).

Compensation

$45 – $75 per hour.
