Per Diem Social Worker (MSW)
Atlantic Health System is seeking a per diem Social Worker (MSW) for Case Management at Hackettstown Medical Center to work 8AM-4:30PM including one weekend every four weeks.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Discharge planning from an acute care hospital.
- Supportive and therapeutic counseling
Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
- Master of Social Work and NJ LSW
Minimum Experience:
- 1-year medical setting (acute care hospital) or 1 year externship would be considered.
Candidates must be available to commit to 2–3 days per week during the first 4–6 weeks to ensure a thorough onboarding process. This role also requires working every other weekend. Departmental hours are 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, with some flexibility. As a seven-day-a-week department, per-dem positions do include weekend coverage.
