Part-time Phlebotomist

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other testing
• Enter patient information accurately and timely
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to patients
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification, completed training program, or 3 months or more of phlebotomy experience preferred
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency may substitute for work experience
• Proven track record of exceptional customer service
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Ability to work Monday-Friday, 6:45am-11:45am, rotating Saturdays 7:00am-12:00pm

Demonstrates expertise in blood collection techniques, including venipuncture and capillary methods, while ensuring accurate patient information management and exceptional customer service. Capable of performing administrative tasks and maintaining specimen logs in a fast-paced environment.
