Pastor

Church of the Covenant OPC in Hackettstown, NJ, is seeking a full-time pastor. We are a mid-sized congregation committed to Reformed theology and the gospel of Jesus Christ, and we seek by God’s grace to be a warm and welcoming community of believers. The pastor’s role involves faithfully preaching the Word of God through expository, Christ-centered, gospel-saturated sermons; administering the sacraments;

tenderly and skillfully shepherding the flock; discipling the saints; and fostering deep, meaningful connections.

We seek a godly, mature, loving, humble, wise, hospitable, and prayerful man with a passion and aptitude for preaching, a strong disposition for shepherding and discipleship, and the ability to build consensus and mobilize people for ministry.

• Must be licensed or ordained in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church, ordained in another NAPARC church, or pursuing licensure in the OPC.
