Controls Engineer (Hackettstown, NJ)
Design automated test equipment (ATE) control drivers for automated testing of power supplies. Develop and prepare dynamic‑link libraries (DLL) in programming languages for test integration. Set up and utilize interfaces for common embedded and industrial communication protocols. Work with C# programming under the .NET framework.
Industrial communication protocols: CAN, Ethernet, UART, SPI, I2C, Modbus, Serial. Modular test design for product validation. Developing test platforms, low‑level drivers, and full applications. Developing communication drivers and Dynamic‑Link Library (DLL) in C or C#. Object‑oriented software development. Integrating software with hardware components. Version control systems. Electrical components, wiring, and soldering.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 1 year of experience.
- Experience with C#, C, and .NET.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols.
Salary Range: $73,008.00 - $94,314.48 per year.
