Adecco is currently assisting a local client in Medford, NJ in recruiting for a Senior Accountant. As a Senior Accountant, you will support a diverse portfolio of business and individual clients in a public accounting setting. This role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple responsibilities and build strong client relationships.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review individual and business tax returns
Perform financial statement preparation and reporting
Process payroll and ensure payroll tax compliance
Handle sales tax filings and reporting
Respond to tax notices and client inquiries
Manage and maintain client relationships as a trusted advisor
Delegate and review work completed by Staff Accountants
Collaborate with leadership on client engagements
Provide Quick Books support and bookkeeping services
5–7 years of public accounting experience
Strong background in tax preparation and small business accounting/advisory
Proficiency in Quick Books
Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
CPA strongly preferred
