Job Description

Base Pay: $16.00 – $16.50 per hour

The Concierge offers a positive first impression to all who enter the community, provides an overview of community information to inquiries in support of sales and marketing efforts, responds to incoming calls, and provides clerical support to all departments. This is a non‑exempt, hourly role reporting to the Business Operations Director.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Answers and screens all incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner
  • Receives and processes mail for the community
  • Maintains and updates a log of emergency phone numbers and resident emergency face sheets
  • Monitors security alarms, resident emergency call system, and front door security
  • Participates in and attends all in‑service training as scheduled
  • Ensures compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations, as well as community policies and procedures
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school diploma preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate to a variety of people and personalities
  • Experience working with the senior population
  • Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel); ability to learn new applications
Physical Abilities
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell as required by the job
  • Ability to lift or carry weight up to 25 lbs; must use proper body mechanics
