Senior Architectural Designer

Salary: $95,, Benefits, 401k, PTO SENIOR ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER

• Perform analyses of design, planning, occupancy studies and design layouts for projects.
• Reports to a Project Manager or Principal
• Write and review plans/estimates
• Technical skill in programs such as Revit, Bluebeam, the Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch Up and other 3D visualization tools
• Work both independently and as a team member on diverse projects
• Create, update, and maintain REVIT and AutoCAD architectural models
• Participate in conceptual design activities under the supervision of a Project Manager
• Assist in the development of project specifications
• Prepare architectural documents for agency approval throughout the bidding and construction administration process
• Perform shop drawings and submittal reviews
• Attend construction meetings, maintaining a photographic record of work progress and preparing field reports for distribution
• Conducting existing condition surveys and summary reports
• Researching and applying codes and standards
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited college or university
• Minimum of at least five (5) or more years of experience, salary commensurate with experience
• Architectural license a plus, individuals tracking towards licensure desired
• Strong Interpersonal skills and ability to effectively interact & communicate with clients, colleagues, and other project personnel
• An interest in sustainability and high-performance buildings

• U.S. Citizenship or Green Card required
