Electrical Power Generation Design Engineer
We are partnering with a highly respected engineering consulting firm seeking an experienced Electrical Power Generation Engineer to join its growing team. This is an outstanding opportunity to work on complex power generation and electrical infrastructure projects for commercial, industrial, and utility clients while collaborating with an experienced team of engineering professionals.

What You'll DoDesign electrical power generation and distribution systems for a variety of projects.
Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation.
Design and specify substations, switch gear, transformers, generators, UPS systems, and backup power systems.
Perform power system studies, including arc flash and coordination analyses.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout project design and execution.
Support projects from initial concept through construction and commissioning.
Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, industry standards, and client requirements.
Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Seven (7)+ years of experience designing electrical power generation and distribution systems.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
Experience with substations, switch gear, transformers, generators, turbines, and backup power systems.
Experience performing Arc Flash studies using SKM Power Tools and/or Easy Power.
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred QualificationsExperience designing electrical systems for power plants or large industrial facilities.
Stable employment history demonstrating career progression.
Experience coordinating with architects, mechanical engineers, and construction teams.
