This is a key leadership opportunity for an experienced professional to join our client's management team in Haddonfield, NJ, as the Director, Construction Services
. This role involves managing the entire construction services division, overseeing NICET-certified staff, and providing critical support for major public infrastructure projects across the region.
This position is a high-visibility role with the potential for a partnership/shareholder track for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities- Division Management: Lead and manage all construction services activities and personnel within the department.
- Staff Oversight: Oversee and direct NICET-certified inspection and support staff on various project sites.
- Project Oversight: Provide comprehensive oversight for major public infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet quality, schedule, and budget requirements.
- Agency Relationship Management: Leverage extensive experience working with key New Jersey state agencies (e.g.,
NJDOT, NJTA, SJTA
) to secure and execute contracts. - Business Development: Actively participate in business development activities to expand the firm's construction management portfolio.
- Project Control: Implement and manage processes for Primavera scheduling, cost control, QA/QC (Quality Assurance/Quality Control), and construction administration.
- Education: Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Engineering is required.
- Licensure (Mandatory): Must hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license OR NICET Level IV certification
. - Experience: Demonstrated project oversight and management experience in large-scale construction or public works.

Proven track record and existing relationships working with New Jersey public agencies (NJDOT, NJTA, SJTA, etc.). - Management: Strong business development, leadership, and staff mentorship capabilities.
- Software & Processes: Expertise in using construction management tools, including Primavera
, and thorough knowledge of cost control, QA/QC, and construction administration practices.
