Job Description
Position:
Deli Assistant Manager
- Must be available to work 5 nights per week
- Enhance department top line and bottom line potential by building relationships with team members and guests through effective leadership.
- Candidates must be available to work within the hours directed by the store director to serve guests during peak business time periods and within the schedules of the collective bargaining agreement.
- Be capable of leading and coaching team members to achieve department goals.
- Utilize business transformation tools designed to leverage ordering, receiving, production, and selling processes to achieve true potential.
- Ensure Acme fresh standards are sustained through proper product handling, including rotation, code dating, and refrigeration of product.
- Develop and sustain a safe and clean department aligned with Acme environmental standards.
- Ensure scales and weights are correct at all times; maintain tag integrity and signage.
- Effectively assign work schedules and tasks to other team members and provide coaching and feedback to enhance performance and accountability.
- Collaborate and work well with other team members; perform other duties as assigned by the store manager.
- Embrace, provide, and lead dominant guest satisfaction at all times.
- Effectively review behavior observations to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Enhance a selling culture through effective team engagement and displaymanship.
- Utilize tools to leverage ordering, receiving, production, and selling processes.
- Embrace effective scheduling.
- Completed “dominant guest satisfaction training.”
- Maximize business transformation tools and have sound working knowledge of financials.
- Performed at a high level in previous assignments with regards to financial performance.
- Received all food safety and general department safety training; can follow up and coach team members as needed. PIT certified.
- Be able to work at any location in the district.
- Effectively lead team members towards achieving common goals.

Pay $18.50/hourly. Starting rates will be no less than the local minimum wage and may vary based on location, experience, qualifications and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. Depending on length of service, hours worked, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement, benefits include healthcare, sick pay, PTO/Vacation pay and retirement benefits (pension and/or 401(k) eligibility).
