Are you organized, detail‑oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional patient service? We’re looking for a dedicated Office Secretary to support our fast‑paced medical offices with outstanding clerical and administrative expertise.
What You’ll Do- Greet and assist patients and clients both in person and over the phone
- Schedule appointments and verify insurance information accurately
- Maintain patient demographics and update records in the system
- Address patient questions or refer them to appropriate personnel when needed
- Keep patients informed about scheduling delays or changes
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with all healthcare regulations
- Keep the medical office neat and well‑organized, and assist with tasks like scanning, sorting mail, and preparing forms
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience: Previous experience in a medical office setting and computer use preferred
- Skills:
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a busy environment
- Proficiency in maintaining confidential patient information
- Basic office equipment and computer literacy
- Enjoy helping patients and keeping busy throughout the day
- Are comfortable working with electronic health records and scheduling systems
- Take pride in creating an organized, welcoming office environment
- Can adapt quickly to changing priorities and urgent requests
