Senior Process Improvement Analyst, Settlement Operations

About your role:
As a Senior Process Improvement Analyst, Settlement Operations within the Settlement Controls and Solutions Global AI & Automation Center of Excellence, you will support the automation, measurement, and standardization of settlement operations across North America, LATAM, APAC, and EMEA. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational processes, analyze settlement activities, and help drive the adoption of automation and process improvement initiatives.
What you'll do:
- Support multiple projects and initiatives by tracking activities, maintaining project documentation, monitoring milestones, and providing status updates.
- Assist in the intake, documentation, and evaluation of automation and process improvement requests to ensure adherence to established standards and procedures.
- Analyze global settlement, reconciliation, and exception data to identify trends, operational risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Support the development and maintenance of reporting and metrics related to settlement operations and automation performance, including benefit tracking and operational efficiency measurements.
- Maintain documentation and inventories of automation solutions, including process details, ownership information, dependencies, and support requirements.
- Partner with regional teams to support process standardization efforts and encourage adoption of new tools and operational practices.
- Assist with training initiatives for new processes and tools, keeping teams engaged and participating through change.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce manual work, and improve accuracy across settlement operations.
Experience you'll need to have:
- 4+ years of experience analyzing business processes, identifying operational issues, supporting process improvement initiatives and/or similar discipline
- Experience supporting automation, workflow improvement, or operational transformation initiatives.
- Experience analyzing and interpreting operational data to support decision-making, performance measurement, or a related discipline
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reporting, and management of large data sets
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience
Experience that would be great to have:
- Experience creating process documentation, procedures, training materials, or operational guides preferred.
- Experience in settlement, payments, treasury, or cash management operations.
- Experience with internal controls, audit activities, or compliance processes.
- Experience in a center of excellence, shared services, or global process role.
- Experience applying artificial intelligence tools to operational processes, including how candidates are assessed, controlled, and monitored after go-live.
- Experience with treasury management systems or enterprise resource planning platforms.
- Experience building dashboards and recurring reporting in Power BI or a similar tool.
How you'll work:
- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experience helps you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
- This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.
Travel:
- Approximately 20% travel off-site or to other office locations is expected.
