Summary
Kinsley is seeking experienced Foremen to join our growing Civil Site and Pipe crews in Hagerstown, MD. The ideal candidates will be motivated leaders with a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude. The Pipe Foreman position focuses on underground construction. Project areas for this position are the Hagerstown, Frederick, Winchester, and surrounding areas. This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with Kinsley Construction policies and procedures.

- Lead, manage, and effectively motivate crews of 5 to 10 team members.
- Plan and coordinate manpower, tools, materials, and equipment for project completion.
- Successfully manage and schedule subcontractors.
- Interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications to ensure accurate execution.
- Oversee and maintain the production process to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Complete and maintain daily timesheets and job logs.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and enforce best practices on-site.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Effectively lead, manage, and motivate crews of 5 to 10 individuals.
- Supervise the installation of new pipes in trench for storm or sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains.
- Successfully manage and schedule subcontractors.
- Interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications.
- Plan and schedule for necessary manpower, tools, materials, and equipment needed to complete the job.
- Responsible for completing daily timesheets and maintaining daily logs.
- Minimum 5 years of field leadership experience.
- Proficiency in GPS systems.
- Applicants should possess knowledge of underground utility installation, excavation regulations, and pipeline safety for the Pipe Foreman position.
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to enforce them.
- Ability to work in a crew-based, fast-paced environment.
- Punctual, dependable, and capable of handling manual labor for extended periods, including work in unfavorable weather conditions.
- Physically capable of performing climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, and material handling tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as a team player.
- Must pass a DOT pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screening.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
