Meritus Behavioral Health Services is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Psychiatrist to join our team at Meritus Medical Center. This role combines broad inpatient/outpatient adult psychiatry practice with faculty responsibilities.

Position Overview:

• Practice Setting: Mix of inpatient (acute unit + crisis stabilization), outpatient (urgent care, IOP, therapy, telehealth)
• Patient Population: Adults with a full range of psychiatric and substance use disorders
• Team & Support: Collaborative environment with 8 psychiatrists, 2 NPs, growing residency program, robust social work/case management, 24/7 Emergency Psychiatric Services team, and dedicated outpatient therapists.
• Schedule: Primarily Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
• Call: Light – at most 1 weekday at-home call per week; rotating weekend call (every ~6 weeks), with resident support increasing in 2026.
• Faculty Role: Dedicated time (0.1 FTE) for clinical supervision, didactics, resident/medical student education, and optional advising/research/committee work.
