Overview
As an Aircraft Inspector IV, you will be using your skills and expertise to inspect our aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment, and parts to ensure airworthiness and conformance to the manufacturer's specifications and government regulations.
You'll be responsible for identifying any breach of standards for airworthiness. Your inspection authority will include all in-process inspections, all final inspections, and approval for return to service of all work.

- Have inspection authority for all in-process inspections, all final inspections, and approval for return to service of all work.
- Active, current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification
- Advanced knowledge of aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment and parts
- Thorough understanding and experience with the practical application of product audit and inspection processes and procedures
- Understanding of 14 CFR Chapter 1
- Thorough understanding of civil or government aviation inspection operations and/or FAA Repair Station operations;
Inspection Authorization (IA);
Designation; experience with first article inspections - Prior experience with aircraft modifications
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military
- High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
- Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
- Frequently walk, sit, stand, climb stairs and steps
- Frequently perform repetitive hand, arm, and finger motions with dexterity
- Frequent vision abilities including close and distance vision, depth perception, and color differentiation
- Frequent hearing abilities including discerning different tones and volumes
- Occasionally lift or carry up to 50 lbs
- Frequently exposed to outdoor elements (high/low temperatures, sun, rain/snow)
- Frequently exposed to fumes or hazardous chemicals/materials
- Frequently exposed to loud noises
- Responsible for the safety or security of people or property
- Inspects, handles, or transports explosives, dangerous or hazardous materials
- Inspects structures, equipment or vehicles
- Operate or supervise vehicles, heavy or dangerous equipment or machinery
